(Explanation of Travel Conditions as per Article 12-4 of the Travel Agency Act)
When we accept travel arrangements at your request, the following terms apply in addition to those stated in the travel itinerary (course schedule) and travel conditions (or quotation).
This explanation of transaction terms becomes part of the contract document if a travel contract is established.
1. Arranged Travel Contract
- This trip is arranged by our company, and we will enter into an arranged travel contract with you.
- At your request, we undertake to make arrangements by acting as an agent, intermediary, or broker so that you can receive transportation, accommodation, and other services.
- In arranging the travel, we will charge a specified travel agency service fee in addition to the travel expenses such as fares and charges paid to transportation and accommodation providers.
- The travel agency service fee is permitted under the Travel Agency Act, and our fees are listed in 11. Travel Agency Service Fees.
In principle, you will be required to pay the handling fee even if the transportation or accommodation providers you requested are fully booked or unavailable.
2. Types of Travel
Travel is categorized as "Domestic Travel" for trips within Japan only, and "Overseas Travel" for all other trips.
3. Travel Application
- We accept reservations for arranged travel contracts for airline tickets, accommodation vouchers, etc., as per your request, through our designated application form, telephone, email, fax, internet, or other communication means.
- In the case of an application by a contract representative for group or package travel,
we consider the contract representative to have full proxy rights for all group members.
- Please fill in the necessary information on our designated application form and submit it along with the application fee or the full travel cost. The application fee will be treated as part of the travel cost or cancellation fee.
4. Travel Conditions for Customers Wishing to Conclude a Travel Contract by Communication Contract
- We may enter into a travel contract by means of telephone, email, fax, internet, or other communication methods (hereinafter referred to as "Communication Contract") with card members (hereinafter referred to as "Members") of credit card companies affiliated with our company (hereinafter referred to as "Affiliated Companies"), on the condition that we receive payment for a portion of the travel cost (deposit) etc. without the member's signature.
However, we may not be able to accept this if we do not have a merchant agreement including a non-signature handling agreement with the affiliated company, or for other operational reasons.
- When applying for a Communication Contract, in addition to the "content of the arranged travel" and "departure date", etc., members must provide us with their "card name", "membership number", "card expiration date", etc.
- A Communication Contract shall be deemed to be established when our notice of acceptance of the contract reaches the customer.
- The "Card Use Date" in a Communication Contract shall be the date on which the member and our company are to fulfill the obligation to pay or refund the travel cost, etc. based on the arranged travel contract. In the former case, it shall be the contract establishment date, and in the latter case, it shall be the date when the cancellation request was made.
